Request help via e-mail If you need technical support from CFANS OIT, send an e-mail message to cfans.help@umn.edu using a University (umn.edu) e-mail account. You will receive an e-mail providing your ticket number, and a technician will contact you to arrange a time to help you.
Note: The helpdesk e-mail account is set to reject all non-University e-mail addresses.
Request help via voicemail (New) If you need technical support from CFANS OIT and your computer is unavailable you can call us at 612-625-7887 and leave a message. You will receive an e-mail providing your ticket number and a technician will contact you to arrange a time to help you with your support needs.
