The Office of Classroom Technology Management has a wide range of services and Equipment for rent, that include public address systems, projection screens, projectors, video equipment, video accessories, and CD, DVD, and Tape duplication.

Printing Services
Printing Services has 7 copy centers equipped to handle all of your graphic needs, from printing, large format printing, copying, binding, laminating, scanning, shrink wrapping, and graphic design.

Skype
Skype is a free Internet telephony product that uses peer-to-peer (P2P) networking protocols. This allows users to make free internet-based phone calls. Users should check with their IT Support Staff before running Skype to make sure that it is setup correctly, otherwise they could unknowingly run the program in violation of the University’s Safe Computing Policy.

UMChat
Exchange text messages for real-time conversations with colleagues within and outside the University community. Individual and group chats are possible. Chats can also be saved for future reference. UMChat is based on Jabber, an open protocol supported by numerous popular IM clients.  This is a free service.

UMConnect
UMConnect (formerly Breeze) is a free tool which provides video, audio, and text chat; virtual whiteboard for cooperative drawing; screen sharing for live demonstrations; and delegation to pass control among participants. In a few simple steps, UMConnect can turn your Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into interactive, online slide shows with optional voice narration and slide notes.

Camtasia: Capture your classes
Record your classes with Camtasia Relay, a software-based class capture solution that can be used anytime, anywhere, with just a computer and a microphone. Camtasia Relay allows you to record your voice or other sounds with a microphone and capture video from your computer screen, then process the presentation and post it to the MediaMill or to iTunes U for students to access.

Video Conferencing
The University offers several video conferencing tools depending on how many people need to present and where the video/audio needs to be transmitted to. Whether there is a meeting that you’ve been asked to attend or there is a lecture series that you want to present to other campuses, there is a resource available for you.
