|  | | CFANS Financial Reporting | In response to a need for efficient, user-friendly budget information from the EFS system, CFANS OIT has developed a website of reports where members of CFANS can view the budget status of both sponsored and non-sponsored accounts. Initially developed for the accounting staff, these reports are refreshed daily, and can be accessed using the Internet Explorer browser on a PC joined to the Active Directory server.
When you get to the website, the reports you have access to will appear on the front page. MyReports for PIs is a good place to start. This report gives a summary of the chart strings that are associated with you.
The URL for CFANS Financial Reports is: http://ssrs.cfans.umn.edu/reports
If you can access this site, there is nothing further you need to do but begin using the reports. If you have financial questions, please contact your accounting staff.
If you are unable to view the site, check these three things:
- Am I using a PC? (At this time, reports cannot be accessed from a Mac.)
- Am I logged into the Active Directory server? (more about AD)
- Am I using Internet Explorer? (Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for SSRS. Firefox requires a special configuration.)
