|  | | How to Request a New Network File Share | From time to time you may have a need to request a new file share for an upcoming project or space for storing files for a class. Below are the steps to request a new file share from OIT.
- Send an email to cfans.help@umn.edu
- Include in the email the name of the new file share, list of users and Internet ID's that will need to have access to the file share, requesters name, phone number
- CFANS OIT will create the new file share and notify you when it is ready for use
