Network print server change will require short outage and re-installation
Many of the networked printers in CFANS use a service called iPrint. Because the iPrint service will be discontinued in December, CFANS OIT is migrating all iPrint printers to a CFANS server that will serve the same function.
The migration will take place unit by unit. Just before your unit is scheduled to migrate, you will receive an e-mail message that includes the names of the printers affected, the scheduled time of the outage, and the instructions you will need to re-install the printers using the new system. An ITP will be available to help you with the transition.
