Student Laptop Checkout Program
Beginning
in the fall semester of 2008, CFANS will offer a new and expanded fleet of Dell
laptops available to students for up to one week at no
charge
from any of three libraries on the St. Paul Campus. |
Faculty Toolkit becomes UTools
Under the new program, all current U of M faculty and staff will be
able to purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver, and PhotoShop Elements
at approximately 40% of the already discounted U of M Adobe software
license price. |
Wireless
OIT is currently replacing all wireless access points throughout the Twin Cities campus. In St. Paul, all wireless access points have been upgraded. The new system provides faster speeds and greater range than the previous system. |
