G Drive Access
When you open "My Computer" from the desktop, you may notice that you have a "G" drive. If you have already used the "G:" drive, you will see the same folders you usually see when you log in.

The "G" drive is physically located on a Central University server and is a resource that allows professors to place important class-related data in a central location. Some classes in the lab will use this resource, others will not; this is according to the discretion of the professor.

According to how the professor wants the class-related area structured, you may have rights to read and copy files from this location or you may have rights to upload things to a folder. This information can be obtained from the professor of your class.
